Position Overview: As a Plant Operations Project Manager, you will be instrumental in facilitating plant-related initiatives and ensuring their effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of various tasks that enhance daily production and align with company objectives.
  • Oversee and implement all plant projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate all actions for initial production runs, including raw materials, packaging, special requests, and scheduling.
  • Manage all sample requests, working closely with Sales, Technical Services, and manufacturing teams to coordinate deliveries.
  • Play a vital role in all ERP functions, collaborating with Manufacturing and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and finalize production runs.
  • Lead Month-End Inventory processes and perform inventory adjustments in the D365 system.
  • Identify causes of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory processes and suggest improvements as necessary.
  • Analyze inventory changes and communicate trends to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and leadership teams to uphold improvement concepts.
  • Integrate Continuous Improvement methodologies with other initiatives such as SQF and Safety.
  • Generate projects with Continuous Improvement to enhance value creation.
  • Act as Site Level Administrator for Manufacturing Production System (Redzone) and Manufacturing Training System (Alchemy).
  • Utilize extensive process knowledge to assist functional areas.
  • Manage safety initiatives at the plant in partnership with the Safety Coordinator.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis for plant issues.
  • Assist in standardizing work processes and AOP planning.
  • Support the identification, planning, and management of CapEx projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to multitask and manage several projects concurrently.
  • Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
