As a Project Manager for the WHSE Design & Automation department, you will guide the installation of systems and equipment, at new and existing facilities, from inception to completion. Successful implementation of these projects will be achieved by collaborating with Operations, Data/Analytics, Continuous Improvement, Integrations, Software Development, and Lifecycles Support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate within a team of highly skilled members by managing projects involving the installation of warehouse automation systems in new and existing warehouses to include commencing new equipment, technology, and software initiatives.Coordinate with internal and external partners to implement new workflows, equipment, and processes by managing timelines, budgets, and communications.Review design documents for proposal compliance overseeing quoting, design and procurement of necessary equipment.Create detailed documentation for future turn-key integrations across the distribution network while providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.Become a subject matter expert in all aspects of fulfillment center operations and support performance improvement through standardizing processes, training operations personnel, conducting data and reporting analysis, and removing obstacles preventing operations from achieving KPIs.Proactively anticipate problems, mitigate risks, and develop solutions to uphold customer service levels and operational KPIs.Demonstrate technical proficiency, potentially involving testing hardware and software, documenting results and collaborating with internal and external partners to identify solutions.Apply operational knowledge by working directly with frontline distribution center employees, providing training on new equipment and processes.Conduct field visits to operations to critically assess workflows and develop new processes to help operations meet KPIs.Future state: Build and lead a highly functioning team to achieve goals and developing team members to increase both expertise and performance.Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

Occasional overnight travel required, not exceeding 50%Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a relative field involving construction, automation and/or industrial maintenance is required.Previous project management experience preferred including methodologies such as Agile, Six Sigma, and Scrum is a plus.Abilities to read, understand blueprints, and manipulate in AutoCAD and/or similar programs are preferred.Education and/or experience in supply chain management is a plus.Demonstrated ability or experience managing and being directly responsible for employment decisions for exempt employees.Working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and Power BI is preferred.

· Exhibit a natural mechanical aptitude with a broad knowledge of software platforms, automation, conveyance, packaging assets and various material handling equipment
