  • Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives focused on engineering enhancements to create actionable improvement plans that address both immediate and long-term needs, with or without capital investment.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Promote sustainability through effective energy management and initiatives aimed at reducing packaging waste.
  • Financial Oversight: Accountable for the financial management of engineering projects.
  • Product Development: Cultivate the capability to swiftly introduce new products, packaging, and processes to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive critical initiatives related to asset management, facility layout, manufacturing flow, compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and automation.
  • Team Management: Engage in managerial duties including budgeting, planning, evaluating, organizing, and delegating responsibilities across Controls & Automation and Maintenance departments. Act as a Change Agent to enhance team capabilities for organizational benefit.
  • Employee Relations: Collaborate effectively with plant functional managers to foster a positive work environment.
  • Staff Management: Oversee employee management processes to ensure effective selection, retention, development, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of manufacturing operations.
  • Strong management and business acumen, with extensive financial expertise and understanding of employment policies.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to influence and engage with all levels within the organization.
