Key Responsibilities:


• Spearhead the design, development, and execution of technical enhancements that bolster manufacturing reliability, process efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.


• Oversee engineering and technical services, process management, capital investment planning, and support systems to ensure alignment with business objectives.


• Champion continuous improvement initiatives in engineering, formulating plans that yield both immediate and long-term enhancements, with or without capital expenditures.


• Promote sustainability through efficient energy management and initiatives aimed at reducing packaging waste.


• Manage the financial aspects of engineering projects.


• Cultivate the capability to swiftly introduce new products, packaging, and processes to maintain market competitiveness.


• Lead significant initiatives across the facility focusing on asset management, plant layout optimization, compliance with FDA/GMP/AIB/SQF standards, safety protocols, and automation advancements.


• Engage in managerial duties including budgeting, planning, evaluation, organization, integration, and delegation for both Controls & Automation and Maintenance departments. Act as a Change Agent to enhance the skills of team members for organizational benefit.


• Collaborate effectively with plant functional managers to foster a positive employee relations atmosphere.


• Provide leadership to employees, ensuring effective recruitment, retention, development, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is advantageous.


• 7-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.


• Comprehensive understanding of operations from a technical standpoint.


• Strong management and business acumen, with extensive financial knowledge and familiarity with employment policies and procedures.


• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.


• Ability to influence and impact all levels within the organization.
