Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our teams and projects in the HDR San Francisco Education and Science Studio. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the work of Project Architects and balance multidiscipline teams throughout the project's development.
  • Participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
  • Review projects with governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Facilitate design work sessions with clients and their representatives, and collaborate with Project Architects and other disciplines to advance the work.
  • Coordinate staffing workload to complete documents on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort with the team to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Work with the Regional Controller and Managing Principal for project reviews with corporate management.
  • Collaborate with Quality Management Coordinator to facilitate quality meetings throughout project development.
  • Participate in marketing activities representing project management requirements.
  • Strengthen client relations through excellence in project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Registered Architect or in the process of obtaining registration (preferably in the State of California).
  • Minimum 10 years related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to lead a team on projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market.
  • Good planning and mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Education and Science projects.
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
  • PMP certification.
