The Role:
We are in search of a Senior Project Engineer to oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of our educational facilities and operational processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our infrastructure supports our mission of delivering exceptional educational experiences.
In this pivotal position, you will lead project engineering initiatives in collaboration with our construction partners. You will coordinate and manage the efforts of engineering, procurement, and construction firms, evaluating project scopes and selecting appropriate equipment to enhance our educational offerings. You will work closely with our internal teams, including Operations, Quality Assurance, and Curriculum Development, to optimize facility designs and ensure compliance with educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop comprehensive plans for scalable facility solutions, engaging with stakeholders to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
- Cost Management: Conduct value engineering exercises to meet budgetary goals and perform cost-benefit analyses to support project evaluations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and manage project risks utilizing established methodologies.
- Project Management: Lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Equipment and Procurement: Collaborate with vendors to identify effective solutions and manage the procurement process.
- Metrics & Reporting: Implement performance metrics and generate reports to assess operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
