The Role:
We are in search of a Senior Project Engineer to spearhead the design, procurement, installation, and initiation of our advanced educational facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our infrastructure supports our mission of delivering exceptional educational experiences.
In this essential position, you will lead project engineering initiatives in collaboration with our construction partners. You will oversee and coordinate efforts with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms to evaluate project scopes and select appropriate equipment tailored to our educational processes. You will work closely with our dedicated teams in Operations, Quality Assurance, and Research & Development to optimize the design of operational units and ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop comprehensive plans for scalable design solutions that enhance our educational facilities.
- Cost Management: Lead value engineering initiatives to meet budgetary and scheduling objectives.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and manage project risks using established methodologies.
- Project Management: Oversee planning and execution of project scopes, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Equipment and Procurement: Collaborate with vendors to identify cost-effective solutions and manage procurement processes.
- Metrics & Goal Setting: Implement performance metrics to measure operational effectiveness and align with institutional objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or project management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
