Position Overview:

  • The Corporate Finance Manager will support the Controller in steering the financial operations of the consolidated organization and its subsidiaries as applicable. This role involves preparing or overseeing the preparation of reports that encapsulate the company’s business activities and financial standings in terms of income, expenses, and cash flows, informed by historical, current, and projected operations. This position allows for remote work flexibility up to two days per week, except during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly financial consolidation for global operations.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly external reporting requirements, including Form 10-Q, Management's Discussion and Analysis, and Press Release preparation.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of Annual External Reporting, including Form 10-K, Annual Report, and Proxy Statement for Shareholders.
  • Analyze quarterly results in comparison to the previous year and budget for Management.
  • Monitor and assess new technical pronouncements from the SEC, FASB, and AICPA, determining their impact on the company and recommending implementation strategies to Management.
  • Oversee compensation accounting for corporate, including the implications of such plans on Earnings Per Share calculations.
  • Conduct annual impairment tests of goodwill and other identifiable intangible assets.
  • Review valuation models and reports to ascertain the fair value of assets related to acquisitions.
  • Perform due diligence site visits to potential acquisitions and report findings to senior management.
  • Maintain and update global accounting policies and internal control procedures.
  • Act as a liaison to external auditors during their reviews/audits of quarterly and annual results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and CPA certification required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years with a major international public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Proficient in writing qualitative reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey technical issues to all levels of Management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on special projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex financial and accounting challenges.
  • Capacity to produce high-quality materials within tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and independently manage large projects.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $225,000 - $265,000, with eligibility for bonuses.
