Core Responsibilities:
  • Guide housekeeping personnel daily to uphold cleanliness standards and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure prompt turnover of clean rooms, report concerns, and communicate efficiently with the front office.
  • Provide coaching, support, and recognition to team members as necessary.
  • Advocate for Great Wolf policies, collaborate with Housekeeping management, and oversee departmental performance.
  • Engage in staff scheduling, labor management, and the development of training programs.
  • Delegate daily tasks, optimize projects, and conduct regular meetings to ensure lodge cleanliness and performance.
  • Inspect rooms, assess cleanliness, and address maintenance issues with accountability and performance enhancement strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role
  • Background in hospitality or housekeeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior housekeeping experience in a resort or hotel setting
  • Familiarity with Opera or similar systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 30lbs
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility for bending, stretching, and twisting
  • Tolerance for exposure to cleaning chemicals
