Position Overview:
The Records Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of records management, which includes the organization and maintenance of both electronic and physical files across various locations.
This position demands a deep understanding of Records Operations and the ability to lead the records team effectively.Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of Records and Information Management (RIM) policies, data privacy regulations, and electronic data handling
  • Oversee both onsite and offsite file management, which encompasses label verification, location monitoring, audits, and file transfers
  • Ensure adherence to Legal Holds and Ethical Walls, managing access controls and maintaining file integrity
  • Direct the Records Team by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing support, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Promote the local office's electronic transformation initiatives, offer training, and lead meetings and project planning
  • Participate in virtual meetings, prioritize assignments, troubleshoot issues, and uphold confidentiality
  • Build effective relationships, collaborate with colleagues, and strive towards achieving organizational objectives
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years in Records Management or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Strong technical capabilities, with experience in records management systems being advantageous
