We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Crisp Recruit. As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical records, supporting our legal team's efforts in personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and maintain complete medical records, including medical bills, from healthcare providers.
  • Organize and manage files, ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered for each case.
  • Analyze billing and medical records to determine if any billing or medical records are missing and needed for the case.
  • Conduct meticulous reviews of affidavits and medical records to identify any errors or discrepancies.
  • Understand and identify the reasons for discounts, payments, and adjustments reflected in billing records.
  • Prepare comprehensive medical breakdowns, detailing healthcare providers seen and past medical expenses paid, incurred, and billed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Records Coordinator in a Texas personal injury legal setting.
  • In-depth understanding of billing procedures and medical records management, particularly under affidavits and treatments related to personal injury and auto accident claims.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe, with practical experience in ProDoc Small Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Health Mark, ChartSwap, Ciox, ChartRequest, and various medical record-keeping systems is essential.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, able to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured written documents and effectively communicate with clients, medical professionals, and legal staff.
