Position Summary
The Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) will deliver exceptional customer service by assisting both internal and external clients, primarily in person, to support their branch and rental requirements.

The CAR Sr will acquire knowledge through localized training and hands-on experience to provide administrative support, serve customers, and act as a rental backup in a large home city branch or airport location.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
We are currently hiring for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
  • Handling incoming calls for reservations, rate inquiries, and general questions, providing information and resolutions for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops, and vendors.
  • Managing outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Delivering a high level of customer service by assisting clients and assessing their rental needs both in person and over the phone.
  • Welcoming customers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Providing directions and general assistance.
  • Assessing the condition of rentals upon return.
  • Processing returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
  • Effectively marketing the company while safely transporting customers and assisting them as needed.
  • Communicating rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services.
  • Potentially selling optional protection products, upgrades, and other equipment.
  • Notifying management of any known vehicle issues and required maintenance.
  • Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors as necessary.
  • Performing various administrative and basic accounting functions, including research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, and running reports.
  • Completing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support.
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
