Position Overview:

As an Imaging Services Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our imaging department and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the transportation, preparation, and positioning of patients to obtain accurate imaging results.
  • Conduct patient pre-screening, initiate IVs, and provide education related to imaging procedures.
  • Manage patient data entry and monitor the transfer of images.
  • Ensure high-quality images and documentation are submitted to the PACS system.
  • Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Keep the imaging department clean and organized, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a state of alertness while performing duties.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Ability to use vision and depth perception for tasks both near and far.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Capable of lifting and moving patients, as well as handling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and repetitive movements.

Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Work Schedule:

Day Shift, 40 hours per week.
