PeaceHealth is seeking an Administrative Specialist III for a Per Diem/Relief position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $20.65 – $30.97.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diverse clerical and administrative support in various settings, including planning, organizing, and coordinating communications, presentations, spreadsheets, and data management.
- Assist with overflow work from administrative and executive assistants, and may have receptionist responsibilities.
- Receive little instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
- Apply knowledge and independent judgment to complete a wide range of assignments and resolve problems.
- Provide guidance and training to other staff.
- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
- Apply knowledge of programmatic and administrative requirements.
- Frequent contacts include internal and external customers to gather information or provide information.
- Facilitate workflow for accurate completion of assignments/projects in accordance with work expectations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible applicable experience in a professional office.
- Preferred: Medical office experience, experience with insurance, formal business and/or secretarial training or experience.
- Proficient in Windows-based PC applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
