About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Insights Manager to join our team at E. & J. Gallo. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving profitable share growth of our products within assigned customer accounts by harnessing the power of shopper behavior analysis, reporting, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database for shopper insights to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, sales, and consumer insights, to support product line reviews and promotional planning.
  • Present persuasive presentations to secure distribution of new items and build Gallo brands.
  • Identify growth opportunities across brick-and-mortar environments, customer online platforms, and third-party platforms.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to execute regional and corporate sales objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Marketing, or Shopper Insights experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to develop your own opinions and recommendations.
  • Experience extracting actionable implications and insights from data.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Marketing, or Shopper Insights experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Skilled in communication, project management, and analysis.
  • Strong acumen for storytelling using data.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, IRI, Spectra, MS Excel, Luminate, Retail Link, Tableau, and Power BI at a basic level.
