Job Overview
In this role, you will be working on the development of Apple Vision Pro, a groundbreaking spatial computer that combines digital and physical experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of hardware components and systems into Apple Vision Pro
- Design and develop innovative hardware solutions using electrical engineering principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years relevant experience designing electronics and/or embedded systems
- Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (high speed buses, analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug and validation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing high volume products from beginning to end and dealing with contract manufacturers
- Familiarity with leading PCB technology and electrical design and characterization of the following areas: PCIe, USB, Display Port, MIPI and I2C/SPI/UART buses
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: CPU/SOC, power(DC-DC converters, battery, power management, low power design), analog circuits, audio/camera/display/wireless integration and measurement, sensor design and integration
About Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
