Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Primary Recruiting Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and directing the preparation of detailed plans and specifications for project construction, as well as monitoring and reporting progress relative to schedule and budget.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key role in supporting the growing need for infrastructure support in Alaska.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and direct the preparation of detailed plans and specifications for project construction
  • Monitor and report progress relative to schedule and budget
  • Prepare and maintain subtransmission, transmission, and substation unit cost data for various types of evaluations
  • Evaluate subtransmission, transmission, and substation cost data for effectiveness or method and scheduling of construction
  • Assist in the preparation of subtransmission, transmission, and substation capital projects portion of division budgets, work plans, and long-range plans
  • Develop special studies to support project selection and technical operation
  • Establish design criteria for facilities construction
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in substation and transmission equipment design and construction.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
