Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at TDL Staffing, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple design and construction projects, overseeing the project design process, and ensuring that the project is completed within the proposed budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple design and construction projects, including new building construction, building renovations, and tenant improvements.
  • Prepare and manage solicitations and selection processes for project vendors and suppliers.
  • Oversee and manage the project design process, including developing the building program, facilitating design meetings, and monitoring design progress.
  • Organize and lead pre-construction meetings, participate in weekly construction meetings, and visit sites to monitor construction progress.
  • Process ASIs/RFIs, review and process contractor and A/E pay applications, and review and negotiate change order requests.
  • Prepare contract amendments, monthly project status reports, and monitor the project schedule, budget, and risk management.
  • Provide on-site construction QA to ensure that the project is being constructed per design and specifications.
  • Review contractor-submitted schedules, provide feedback to the owner on construction progress, and make corrective action recommendations as needed.
  • Establish and maintain cost baselines, provide cost information to facilitate timely and informed decisions, and manage and oversee all change orders.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in the construction industry, including 4+ years of experience managing small to medium-sized projects.
  • Able to work on and oversee multiple projects in the Fairbanks/Anchorage, Alaska area.
  • Professional accreditation in a relevant discipline or related project experience.
  • Strong technical skills related to project software.
  • Ability to obtain access onto a U.S. Military Installation.
  • Commitment to Health and Safety.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Background will be viewed.
