We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Colaska Inc. on the Kenai Peninsula. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing oversight on assigned field operations and reporting to the Area Manager.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure a Safe Worksite: Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Colaska policy and the Goal Zero principles.
- Operations Support: Assist Site Superintendents and Project Managers with operations, schedules, and cost management.
- Digital Modeling: Utilize Trimble Business Center software for digital modeling of work.
- Cost Management: Establish and maintain cost and billing quantities, and transfer information from estimating software to job cost software.
- Team Leadership: Manage positions that report to the Project Engineer, including Project Clerks and Project Engineer Interns.
- Communication: Attend pre-job and weekly meetings with agencies and owners, and facilitate communication among team members.
- Safety Orientation: Must be safety-oriented and committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Education and Experience: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or relevant work experience can be used in lieu of education.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
