Senior Manager, Safety Signal Operations, Americas

Position Overview: As the Senior Manager for On-Road Safety Signals, you will spearhead the strategic vision and cross-functional roadmap for in-vehicle safety signals tailored for Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) throughout the Americas. Your role will involve crafting and executing a comprehensive strategy, influencing and aligning partner teams on the roadmap and prioritization, and devising solutions that enhance the safety of DSP delivery drivers.
Key Responsibilities: You will expand the scope and depth of safety signals and data, influence product and engineering roadmaps, identify and lead collaboration opportunities, monitor activities across various programs and products, and ensure teams are accountable for timely and budget-compliant deliveries. Your accountability extends to managing your roadmap, securing stakeholder buy-in, and delivering quantifiable improvements in safety while minimizing on-road incidents.
This position will emphasize leading strategic and safety-critical programs. You will formulate an in-vehicle safety strategy and vision for multiple risk areas and business lines. Your responsibilities will include identifying and implementing essential mechanisms to manage our extensive global organization in executing safety prevention initiatives, encompassing goal performance, business reviews, and multi-year planning.
Qualifications: This role necessitates a profound understanding of operations, technology, and program management. Your primary focus will be to ensure the safety of Delivery Service Partner Delivery Associates (DAs) and community members while they are on the road.
This leader will navigate complex, multifaceted programs, influencing across organizational boundaries, fostering alignment on shared objectives, engaging with senior leaders, and driving progress. You will possess the capability to analyze intricate business data, generate actionable insights, drive cross-functional solutions, and report advancements to senior leadership. Embracing ambiguity and fostering clarity across teams and organizations will be essential.
Team Development: You will be responsible for hiring and nurturing a team of high-performing individuals, balancing leadership through your team while also delivering key initiatives personally. Strong relationship-building skills and sound business judgment are critical. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to engage successfully with diverse audiences on a wide range of safety and incident prevention topics.
Critical Success Factors: Balancing time between projects and rapid responses is vital for success in this role. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, the ability to influence, analytical skills, and leadership are essential attributes for this position.
