Position Overview: As the Senior Manager for On-Road Safety Signals, you will spearhead the vision and cross-functional strategy for in-vehicle safety signals tailored for Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) throughout the Americas. Your role will involve crafting and executing a strategic plan, influencing and aligning partner teams on the roadmap and prioritization, and devising solutions that enhance the safety of DSPs' delivery personnel.
Key Responsibilities: You will expand the scope and depth of safety signals and data, influence product and engineering roadmaps, identify and lead collaboration opportunities, and ensure accountability across programs and products. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the safety of Delivery Associates (DAs) and community members while they are engaged in deliveries.
This position emphasizes the management of strategic and safety-critical programs. You will develop a comprehensive in-vehicle safety strategy for various risk areas and business lines. Additionally, you will implement essential mechanisms to oversee our extensive global organization in executing safety prevention initiatives, including performance goals, business reviews, and long-term planning.
Qualifications: The role necessitates a profound understanding of operations, technology, and program management. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business data, generating actionable insights, and reporting progress to senior leadership. The ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity across teams is crucial.
This leader will manage intricate, multifaceted programs, fostering alignment on shared objectives, engaging with senior leaders, and propelling progress. You will be tasked with hiring and nurturing a team of high-performing individuals while balancing leadership responsibilities with the delivery of key initiatives. Strong relationship-building skills, sound business judgment, and exceptional communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
- 6+ years of experience in team management.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
- Familiarity with feature delivery and product trade-offs.
- Experience in engaging and influencing senior executives.
- MBA preferred.
