Position Overview: As the Senior Manager for On-Road Safety Signals, you will spearhead the vision and cross-functional strategy for in-vehicle safety signals aimed at Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) throughout the Americas. Your role involves crafting and executing a strategic vision, aligning partner teams on the roadmap and prioritization, and developing solutions that enhance the safety of DSP delivery drivers.
Key Responsibilities: You will expand the range and depth of safety signals and data, influence product and engineering roadmaps, identify collaboration opportunities, and monitor activities across various programs and products. You will ensure teams are accountable for timely and budget-compliant deliverables. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing an in-vehicle safety strategy and vision for multiple risk areas and business lines.
- Implementing critical mechanisms to manage safety prevention initiatives across a large global organization.
- Balancing operations, technology, and program management to maintain safety for Delivery Associates (DAs) and community members.
Leadership and Influence: This position requires managing complex, multifaceted programs while influencing across organizational boundaries. You will create alignment on shared goals, engage with senior leaders, and drive progress. The ability to analyze intricate business data, generate actionable insights, and report progress to senior leadership is essential. You will embrace ambiguity and provide clarity across teams and organizations.
Team Development: You will be responsible for hiring and nurturing a team of high-performing individuals, balancing team leadership with the delivery of key initiatives. Strong relationship-building skills, sound business judgment, and excellent communication abilities—both verbal and written—are critical for success in this role.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
- 6+ years of experience in team management.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery and feature trade-offs.
- Ability to engage and influence senior executives.
