Job OverviewTonix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly experienced VP, Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting the product positioning, messaging, and branding for the company's soon-to-be-submitted product in the fibromyalgia market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive business growth and expansion
- Oversee all marketing activities, including marketing communication, product marketing, market research, digital marketing, public relations, and customer marketing
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing strategic direction and mentorship
- Collaborate with functional departments to ensure effective product launches and market penetration
- Conduct market research and commercial data analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Develop and implement effective branding and positioning strategies in the fibromyalgia community
- Provide guidance on clinical claims and publication strategies
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Measure and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess ROI and identify areas for improvement
- Represent the company at industry conferences, tradeshows, and other events
- Develop meaningful relationships with key customers and KOLs
- BS/BA degree in a related field and at least 15 years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech commercial marketing experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- Knowledge of pain market and fibromyalgia a plus
- Strong functional competence in marketing, including brand planning, selling, and negotiation skills
- A proven command of classic pharmaceutical/biotech marketing disciplines and techniques
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Dedicated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Annualized base salary ranges from $250k to $350k plus target incentive
