Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the efficient flow of production materials and ensure optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Inventory Management: Maintaining balanced inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and cash flow issues, while forecasting monthly shipments and managing backorders.
  • Process Optimization: Implementing and maintaining material control systems and policies to streamline procedures, reduce costs, and address any challenges effectively.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing plans to procure materials timely and cost-effectively, ensuring inventory control, efficient planning, and quality control measures are in place.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and skills.
  • Proficiency in MRP, JIT/Lean manufacturing principles, and PC skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • APICS or CPIM certification is advantageous.
