Job Description:

A talented Quality Assurance Engineer is sought to join our client's elite manufacturing organization. This individual will have insight into various aspects of quality and play a crucial role in fostering career growth within areas of interest.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to learn under an experienced Quality Manager, strengthening both technical and soft skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality System Oversight: Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer requirements by monitoring and maintaining the effectiveness of quality and reliability systems.
  • Documentation Management: Generate, maintain, and update accurate documentation related to quality, reliability, and manufacturing processes.
  • Metrology and Inspection: Develop and execute CMM programs to verify part quality, measure tool components, and document findings for future reference.
  • Problem Solving and Prevention: Implement detection systems to identify and eliminate potential quality and reliability issues.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PPM, Cost of Quality, and NCRs.
  • Quality Program Development: Develop, implement, and manage quality programs, including tracking, analysis, and problem-solving activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized quality records, including customer complaints, control plans, quality alerts, and weekly logs.
  • Calibration Management: Oversee and control the gauge calibration system to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Customer Support: Manage and submit timely customer PPAPs, ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement control plans and in-process inspection records to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Issue NCRs, initiate containment actions, and write clear instructions and reports for corrective actions.
  • Corrective Action Implementation: Lead 8-D corrective action investigations, document findings, and submit reports to customers.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience in CMM Programming
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment or CQE certification
  • Strong understanding of ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards and their application in quality management systems
