Position Overview:

As a Senior Telecommunications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our telecommunications infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless communication systems that support our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your knowledge of Granite circuit databases to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in IP routing and assignment to facilitate effective network communication.
  • Engage with Digital Communications technologies, including Fiber and Ethernet, to maintain high-quality service delivery.
  • Apply advanced skills in CWDM/DWDM Optical Transport systems, particularly with Ciena and Alcatel-Lucent technologies.
  • Employ Pathloss 5 microwave design software for optimal network planning.
  • Exhibit strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
  • Manage projects effectively while demonstrating superior organizational and planning skills.
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and contribute to wireless engineering initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with microwave systems, specifically ALU/Nokia MPR9500.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a focus on organizational impact.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high productivity levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering principles is a plus.
