Key Responsibilities- Resident Care and Support: Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and conducting regular wellness visits.
- Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health and wellness needs, documenting all pertinent information in their resident wellness file.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance resident care and services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sunrise Senior Living's policies and procedures.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing, with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior care environment.
- Skills and Qualities: Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
