We are currently seeking a Senior EPC Scheduling Specialist. This role offers a flexible work environment with a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration.

The Senior Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Scheduling Specialist will oversee planning and scheduling analysis and control tasks during the EPC phase.

As a Senior EPC Scheduling Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing, maintaining, and monitoring engineering, procurement, and construction schedules while identifying impacts and planning recovery strategies.
  • Conducting EPC phase reporting and analysis, including quality metrics for P6 schedules.
  • Supporting planning studies, forecasts, and project optimization during the EPC phase.
  • Leading engineering teams in the creation and upkeep of comprehensive project schedules as well as detailed short-term schedules.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Project Management, Project Controls, and external partners to integrate and sequence engineering activities into the Integrated Master Control Schedule (IMCS) managed in Primavera P6.
  • Facilitating the establishment of cross-system and cross-project logic ties within the schedule.
  • Assisting in negotiations between stakeholders regarding technical and engineering content, schedules, and facilitating workaround planning.
  • Overseeing the development and organization of engineering scope schedule fragnets for planning and estimating, ensuring standard application across the project.
  • Leading project management efforts by conducting integrated reviews of planned work and compiling three-week look-ahead activities.
  • Reviewing scheduled EPC phase work activities to confirm alignment with project milestones.
  • Evaluating EPC phase schedule resource loading and leveling along with bulk commodity design and procurement.
  • Analyzing critical paths and constraints to assess the impact of progress changes on the schedule and recommending solutions to meet baseline milestones.
  • Creating 'What If' scenarios and recovery plans in response to project activity delays and change requests.
This is a Full-Time Opportunity

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with at least 19 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of CPM scheduling and advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 software.
  • Experience in preparing, monitoring, and reporting schedule information within engineering, procurement, and construction contexts.
  • Proficient in utilizing computers for executing work processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering and construction management principles acquired through specialized training or practical experience.
  • Advanced skills in PC operating systems and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated advanced capability with Primavera (P6) and its application in complex engineering and construction projects.
  • Ability to plan, organize, perform, review, and present planning and scheduling outputs independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation: $75.00 per hour
