Marketing Manager for Product Strategy

Location: Lowell, MA or Westin, FL

Schedule: Hybrid (3x/week onsite)

Pay: Up to $55/hour DOE

Duration: 4 months

Planet Interactive is seeking a Marketing Manager for Product Strategy to collaborate with our HR Tech client on a 4-month contract. This position will involve a commitment of 40 hours per week and will require a hybrid work schedule from their office in Lowell, MA or Westin, FL.

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the creation and enhancement of messaging and materials that link industry workforce needs to company offerings, enhancing perceived value and benefits for diverse buyer personas across various sectors.
  • Craft industry-targeted messaging to support multiple campaigns and programs in collaboration with demand generation, field marketing, public relations, digital marketing, sales, and other key stakeholders. Activities will encompass webinars, direct mail initiatives, website content, trade exhibitions, and special events.
  • Produce compelling sales tools and marketing materials, including white papers, briefs, eBooks, infographics, presentations, and other content tailored for different industries.
  • Provide ongoing education about company products to align with industry challenges and the solutions they offer.
  • Assist in the development of agendas, relevant content, and speakers for the annual Industry Executive Summit.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of select trade shows, conferences, and meetings.
  • Support individual sales opportunities and prospecting strategies, including responses to RFPs, messaging guidance, presentation development, and account-specific materials.
  • Collaborate with industry sales leaders and teams to identify market opportunities and priorities, developing programs, events, and initiatives that enhance company visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Work alongside sales and demand generation teams on account-based marketing strategies.
  • Communicate marketing initiatives to sales partners through regular newsletters, calls, and meetings.
  • Engage cross-functionally with departments that support the vertical sales team on various projects and events.
  • Update internal sales collaboration platforms.
  • Identify customers willing to participate in advocacy projects such as speaking engagements, webinars, customer stories, or blogs, and support them throughout the engagement process.
  • Research and analyze industry trends, challenges, and priorities to enhance the company's capacity to address workforce-related issues.
  • Understand industry and HCM buyer personas to effectively enhance company relevance.
  • Collaborate with Social, Customer Marketing, and PR teams on social media campaigns that showcase industry expertise.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software marketing, preferably within the Public Sector, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience in SaaS marketing and/or sales is preferred.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint is required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to connect and translate concepts into customer value.
  • Demonstrated interest in understanding customer motivations for purchasing products or solutions and influencing buying decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience presenting to both small and large groups, both virtually and in-person.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
