About the Role

Cleveland Brothers Equipment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Machinery Sales and Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our construction equipment products and services to customers in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 50-80 customers in an assigned territory, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to increase parts and service revenue, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions to improve equipment performance and reduce operating costs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling existing customers.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and technical expertise to provide expert advice and guidance to customers on equipment selection, maintenance, and repair.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure the company remains competitive and informed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the construction equipment industry and its key players.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
