We are a seasoned Private Equity firm with a proven track record of acquiring and operating Residential Solar EPCs across the US. Our portfolio comprises over 40 EPCs in 7 states, operating in a hybrid model that leverages our expertise in construction operations to drive growth and efficiency.

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our construction operations team and drive our national expansion. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to standardize, assimilate, and continuously improve our construction operations model.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly experienced construction operations expert to join our team as the Head of Construction Operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our national expansion and ensuring that our construction operations are the best in the industry.

As a strategic thinker, you will focus on designing systems and processes that are efficient, scalable, and flexible enough to adapt to changing conditions. You will be responsible for evaluating existing staff, systems, and processes, recruiting, leading, mentoring, managing, and growing the operations team, and onboarding newly acquired EPCs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing staff, systems, and processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, manage, and grow the operations team to drive growth and efficiency
  • Onboard newly acquired EPCs to ensure seamless integration
  • Scale systems and staff to support 30,000+ installs per month
  • Work from home office anywhere in the USA
  • Travel up to 20%
Experience and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in residential solar construction operations
  • 3+ years of experience as a manager of managers in residential solar sales
  • Has led a construction operations organization of at least 30 employees
  • Extensive experience managing outsourced partners both onshore and offshore
  • Has owned overall construction operations efforts for at least one state, and ideally a multi-state or national territory
