As a vital member of our operations team, you will be responsible for guiding a crew in executing residential solar system installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage on-site solar installation projects.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is equipped with necessary tools and accurate materials inventory.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle to and from job sites.
  • Provide clear installation instructions to crew members.
  • Inspire and oversee the installation team.
  • Guarantee all work is conducted safely, with high-quality craftsmanship, and in accordance with company policies and relevant codes (EX: NFPA-70, IRC, IFC, CA-T24).
  • Assist in the efficient and safe installation of solar roof components.
  • Communicate any required changes for the installation process.
  • Complete job-specific documentation and gather data and photos for each project.
  • Coordinate and engage in the cleanup of job sites.
  • Adhere to and enforce all safety regulations and policies set by Freedom Forever.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of solar installation experience, including at least six months in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and supervise team members in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools, with the ability to instruct others.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to productivity.
  • Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
  • Experience with installing electrical components and roof racking systems.
  • Physically capable of handling materials and equipment related to installations.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds frequently throughout the workday.
  • Provide excellent customer service through effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • (Punctuality and dedication to quality work are essential.)
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions (EX: sun, heat, cold, rain, crawl spaces).
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
