At Northrop Grumman, we're seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator or Principal Contracts Administrator to join our Advanced Technologies Business Unit in Linthicum, MD. This role will involve negotiating, administering, and closing contracts with various customers, including USG and NG IWO customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and administer contracts to ensure successful program performance
  • Collaborate with the program team to recommend and complete actions to ensure satisfactory program performance
  • Work with program business management to monitor contract funding and payments
  • Lead solicitation and RFP review/analysis, proposal preparation, and signoff
  • Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations
  • Compile and analyze data
  • Maintain historical information including official correspondence

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications Contracts Administrator:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Business, Law, or related work experience or Master's degree with 1+ year of Business, Law, or related work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Must be able to maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with contract terms and conditions and in proposal development, negotiation, and contract administration
  • Understanding of commercial/US Government contractual instruments including contract type, terms and conditions, and contract financing vehicles
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities; ability to start, oversee, and follow-through with major assignments and responsibilities
  • Must be a team player, independent, proactive, and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Business, Law, or related work experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of Business, Law, or related work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Must be able to maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with contract terms and conditions and in proposal development, negotiation, and contract administration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of DoD Contracts & Proposal experience
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Active DoD Clearance
  • Experience with OTAs and other unique Contract vehicles

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200Salary Range 2: $84,600 - $127,000
