Windows Systems Administrator - Classified Environment

We are seeking driven individuals without a four-year degree to join our talented team of System Administrators in a classified government contracting environment. As a Windows Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems and supporting multiple networks.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and optimize multi-user computer systems within a classified setting, implementing system enhancements for improved performance and reliability.
  • Manage critical processes such as backup, recovery, file systems, and security protocols.
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues and collaborate effectively with various IT teams and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
  • Adhere strictly to information security guidelines and maintain comprehensive security documentation.
  • Work independently to develop innovative solutions with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current DoD Secret level security clearance (minimum).
  • Valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification.
  • Proven experience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture in classified environments.
  • Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS/SCCM.
  • Experience with Splunk, including server management and dashboard creation.
  • Familiarity with DoD STIGs and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
  • High School Diploma + 9 years or Associate's degree + 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work flexible hours as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with NISPOM, RMF, JSIG, and other classified system environments.
  • Knowledge of VMware and SAN storage systems.
  • Linux operating system experience.
  • Networking skills (subnets, routing, VLANs) and Cisco experience.
  • Scripting abilities and experience with system imaging.
