Position Overview

Who are we seeking?

CAPTRUST is in search of a Wealth Advisory Client Consultant who will collaborate with multiple financial advisors to manage and nurture wealth client relationships.

The Client Consultant leverages specialized expertise and skills, acquired through experience and/or formal education, to support Financial Advisors in delivering outstanding service to individual investors and families. The selected candidate will also propose solutions to challenges through extensive interaction with Financial Advisors, internal stakeholders, and operational teams across various custodians. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster relationships with Financial Advisors, internal and external partners, and clients by providing exceptional proactive service.
  • Manage existing client relationships through communication, meetings, and addressing requests, ensuring prompt follow-up and high-quality service.
  • Prepare and present necessary documentation and materials for client interactions.
  • Participate in investment and annual reviews as needed.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new client relationships through correspondence, reports, account paperwork, and advisory agreements.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors and internal partners to identify optimal methods for resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction while upholding the CAPTRUST culture.
  • Organize and maintain client records in compliance with CAPTRUST, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in additional duties and special projects as assigned, including firm-wide initiatives.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a Client Service role within the brokerage, investment advisory, or financial services sector.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
  • Ability to effectively navigate and analyze spreadsheets.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the capability to quickly understand financial and investment concepts.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; adept at managing multiple time-sensitive tasks.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to change and a creative approach to process improvement.
  • Flexibility to manage shifting priorities, pressure, and tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven; capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • High standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Proactive in task management, with excellent time-management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
