Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planner to join our team in Brentwood, TN. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align with our organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Interaction: Interact daily with prospective and existing clients, handling inquiries and providing quotes.
  • Order Processing: Enter and receive orders for the Financial Advisor.
  • Research and Analysis: Research client and security information through our back-office system.
  • Client Documentation: Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare letters, forms, and spreadsheets to assist with servicing existing clients and prospecting for new clients.
  • Database Management: Create and maintain records and files.
  • Compliance: Ensure client paperwork is current with firm and industry requirements, rules and regulations.
  • Marketing Support: Assist Financial Advisors with marketing efforts for seminars and compliance approval for advertising literature.
  • Client Meeting Preparation: Responsible for client meeting preparation (forms, reports, presentations, etc.).
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train additional client services staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of prior industry experience as a financial planner or as a registered associate in sales support.
  • Certifications: Series 7, Series 65/66 registered and/or a professional CFP Designation.
