Job Summary

Viking Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the Missouri/Kansas territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and present Viking's products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Account Management: Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in industry associations, such as AFSA, NFSA, and SFPE chapters, to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Travel and Administration: Travel extensively throughout the territory, maintaining a professional and efficient travel schedule, and ensuring timely submission of expense reports and sales tracking reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Four-year degree in a job-related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of sales experience, preferably in the fire suppression industry.
  • Skills: Assertive personality, excellent written and oral communication skills, computer competence, and ability to learn all aspects of the fire protection industry and Viking's products and services.
