Job Summary:

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for representing BITEC, Inc. to all customer accounts in a protected geographical territory. This role requires a consultative sales approach, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and providing best-in-class solutions and products for the building envelope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell BITEC products to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand and service a base of business
  • Collaborate with a team of BITEC representatives, engineers, designers, and affiliate companies to provide high-quality customer service
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
  • Identify prospective customers and monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts
  • Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements and develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations
  • Establish professional customer/vendor relationships and negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements
  • Maintain customer records and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
  • Represent BITEC at trade association meetings, events, and conventions to promote products

Requirements:

Must possess sales experience. A post-secondary degree is preferred. Must successfully pass all required background screenings and obtain the requisite security clearance(s) to gain access to locations which require more stringent background scrutiny. Must maintain a valid Driver's license to have the ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel domestically and internationally by plane. Must be willing to travel overnight in and out of territory. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers. Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, Google applications, Customer Relationship Management software.

Bilingual or multi-lingual a plus.
