Territory Sales Manager

US Foods is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Kansas City. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Manage deliveries to the routing schedule and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client
- Develop new business and identify prospective customers through market intelligence databases and business directories
- Provide value-added services to customers, including market knowledge and product information
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
- Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills
- Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products - Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
The job requires frequent standing, walking, driving, and sitting. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform other physical activities as described in the job requirements.
