Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

US Foods is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Kansas City. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client
  • Develop new business and identify prospective customers through market intelligence databases and business directories
  • Provide value-added services to customers, including market knowledge and product information
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products - Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
Physical Qualifications:

The job requires frequent standing, walking, driving, and sitting. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform other physical activities as described in the job requirements.
