Position Overview
As a newly recruited sales professional, you will participate in our comprehensive sales training program, which combines online classroom education with practical field training and mentorship within your designated area. Your assigned field trainer will guide you through the essential business sales cycle, as well as more sophisticated sales strategies that we employ. While prior sales experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory; we are committed to training the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own local territory, engaging with small to medium-sized enterprises across diverse sectors.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with business proprietors and decision-makers, presenting them with leading supplemental insurance solutions tailored to their team's requirements.
- Work with employees individually and deliver presentations to groups ranging from 5 to 50+.

Core Duties
- Utilize our tailored Salesforce CRM to generate leads and expand your client base while enhancing your professional network within your territory and surrounding areas.
- Address client inquiries through various communication channels as necessary.
- Schedule meetings with prospective and current clients to assess their insurance needs.
- Attend regular calls and meetings with your sales manager and team.
- Personally visit new businesses, cultivate relationships with local business owners, follow up on referrals, and service existing clients.
- Build and maintain your own client portfolio.
- Collaborate with your sales team manager to establish monthly and quarterly sales goals for yourself.
- Organize and adhere to your weekly schedule and working hours; submit your schedule to your sales team manager weekly.
- Document daily work statistics and sales activity updates at the end of each workday.

Additional Requirements
- Successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Hold an active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your state of residence (or be willing to obtain one; study course provided and state licensing fees reimbursed).
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of post-high school work experience (candidates nearing degree completion or with less than 4 years of relevant professional experience with a sales or athletic background will be considered).
