Role Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Specialist to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will oversee the billing process, ensuring that our services are billed accurately and promptly. This position is crucial for upholding our financial integrity and enhancing our commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue precise invoices across various platforms, ensuring adherence to customer billing standards.
  • Examine and validate billing information, including customer pricing and sales tax calculations, to guarantee accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Record payments and reconcile customer accounts on a daily basis, addressing any discrepancies and processing necessary adjustments.
  • Work collaboratively with customers and internal teams to resolve billing questions and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on accounts receivable, supporting collection efforts in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in financial reporting and year-end closing processes to ensure all data remains accurate and current.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Finance Specialist or in a comparable role.
  • Strong grasp of invoicing procedures and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with experience in accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with customers and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is advantageous.
