About the Role:

In the role of Facilities Operations Specialist at CBRE, you will collaborate with clients, service providers, and contractors to ensure the successful completion of facility-related tasks and work orders.

This position is integral to the Facilities Management sector, focusing on the operational aspects of a portfolio of assets and providing essential support to Property Managers concerning repairs and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with landlords, tenants, and service providers to ensure adherence to established procedures, policies, and reporting standards.
  • Address all client inquiries and gather work orders efficiently.
  • Compile information reports to assess performance and progress.
  • Organize work orders, proposals, departmental files, and documentation submitted by vendors.
  • Oversee external activities, ensuring compliance with waste disposal and recycling protocols.
  • Interpret instructions, brief correspondence, and memos, seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Respond to common inquiries or concerns from clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Utilize existing procedures to resolve straightforward issues, operating within defined guidelines.
  • Deliver results through clearly defined responsibilities, methods, and tasks.
  • Produce outputs by adhering to established procedures and processes under close supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with a curious mindset.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages and discounts.
