Job Summary

Three Saints Bay, LLC, a leading Federal Contracting company, is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our customer in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for drafting, editing, and finalizing documents in support of Federal regulatory actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Development: Draft and edit documents, including rulemaking documents, reports, articles, briefing papers, and congressional reports, in accordance with specific writing and editing guidance documents.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with rulemaking teams, including subject matter experts, economists, environmental analysts, and project counsels, to gather and streamline input and draft and edit documents for regulatory actions.
  • Formatting and Style: Follow templates and writing style guides to format, edit, and draft documents in line with the GPO Style Manual, Strunk and White Elements of Style, the Document Drafting Handbook, and Federal plain language guidelines.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support during project team meetings and record minutes, share documents online, and edit them in accordance with SME and team direction.
  • Spreadsheet Development: Create spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to record public comments on rulemakings.
Requirements
  • Citizenship: US Citizen
  • Clearance: Ability to pass a Public Trust level clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of direct technical writing experience for Federal programs
  • Skills: Strong command of the English language, with a proven track record of producing professional, clear documentation throughout a complete project cycle; expert-level skills with Microsoft Word; strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
