Job Title: Technical Writer II

Three Saints Bay, LLC, a leading Federal Contracting company, is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our customer in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and edit high-quality documents for Federal regulatory actions, ensuring clarity and accuracy for senior Government leaders and the public.
  • Collaborate with rulemaking teams to draft and refine rulemaking documents, adhering to specific writing and editing guidelines.
  • Apply GPO Style Manual, Strunk and White Elements of Style, and Federal plain language guidelines to format and edit documents.
  • Work closely with rulemaking teams, including subject matter experts, economists, and project counsels, to gather and streamline input and draft documents.
  • Produce a range of documents, including reports, articles, briefing papers, in-house studies, congressional reports, and memoranda.
  • Record minutes, share documents online, and edit them according to team direction, providing technical support during project team meetings.
  • Create spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to record public comments on rulemakings.
Requirements:
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to pass a Public Trust level clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of one year of direct technical writing experience for Federal programs
  • Demonstrable record of working on project teams while assigned to multiple projects
  • Strong command of the English language and proven track record of producing professional documentation
  • Expert-level skills with Microsoft Word and strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
