Job Title: Technical Writer/Researcher 3

At A Prentice Ray & Associates LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer/Researcher 3 to join our team. As a key member of our content development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation, conducting research, and providing writing support to our division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other procedural documents.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established SOPs.
  • Assist with financial analyses to identify and resolve issues that impact the validity of data contained in the Federal government's financial system.
  • Produce monthly financial reconciliation reports using MS Excel.
  • Attend meetings and capture and distribute minutes.
  • Utilize training databases to generate reports on training outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Compile Weekly Activity Reports (WAR) from divisional personnel to develop the final Division Report.
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience as a Technical Writer/Researcher 2 or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years' experience or a combination of experience (seven years writing experience) and education or certifications required.
  • Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
