Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Kohler Co. in the Dallas Branch. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for executing, planning, and conducting comprehensive sales activities within an assigned territory/account. Your primary goal will be to promote and service Kohler Co. plumbing products through accounts to builders, plumbers, contractors, and other specifiers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with accounts in assigned territory to introduce and promote the sale of Kohler Co. plumbing products.
  • Provide guidance and review the activities of accounts sales personnel, provide training, and assist in resolving specific questions or problems related to selling efforts or technical issues.
  • Analyze and evaluate assigned territory regarding sales trends and potentials, competition, economic/business conditions, and account performance.
  • Prepare annual sales forecast, projecting sales volume for the next year based on knowledge of sales trends and potentials, and area competition and economic/business conditions.
  • Implement special training assignments as directed by Sales Manager.
  • Conduct account warehouse and on-site consumer inspections as required, service account and customer complaints regarding product quality, installation, or performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • 8 years of sales experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results.
  • Must possess enhanced skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.
  • Must possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker.
Travel

Travel to trade shows, manufacturing plants, and customer visits as needed, approximately 20-35%.
