What You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Collaborating with multiple clients to provide a range of accounting and administrative services, including but not limited to:
    • Overseeing full accounting processes, such as maintaining and reviewing the general ledger, timely journal entries, coordinating monthly closings, managing budgets, and preparing financial statements with supporting documentation.
    • Supervising and reviewing accounts payable functions.
    • Mentoring Family Office staff, including General Ledger and Senior Accountants.
    • Coordinating payroll with clients and the Family Office payroll team.
    • Managing and reviewing various bank, brokerage, and credit card reconciliations.
    • Conducting reconciliations and analyses for balance sheet accounts, including inter-company accounts.
    • Preparing annual K-1 reconciliations.
    • Assisting in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax packages and related documents.
    • Responding to client inquiries and requests.
    • Managing day-to-day client relationships.
    • Handling special projects as required.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA eligibility is preferred.
  • Six to nine years of progressive accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in professional services is preferred.
  • Three or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong team management skills, including the ability to lead and coach staff.
  • Ability to cultivate strong personal relationships within the firm and the broader business community.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong project management and client service capabilities.
  • A solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and intellectual curiosity.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
