Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software applications and systems meet technical and functional requirements while complying with licensing, security, and data privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of software purchasing, licensing, and auditing.
  • Manage a team of software analysts and administrators to handle all aspects of the software compliance lifecycle.
  • Review contracts to ensure data privacy terms and conditions are assessed and approved by internal legal teams.
  • Maintain supplier records, service level agreements, and software license information.
  • Perform compliance reviews to ensure applications and servers operate in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Actively communicate with software vendors to discuss products, pricing, and support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Ten years of purchasing and software compliance administration experience.
  • Knowledge of software upgrades/patch management best practices in an enterprise environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security-related issues and incidents.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and communicate them clearly to management.
Work Environment

This role operates in a clerical, office setting and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds frequently.

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
