West Techs Chill Water Specialist Overview:

Compensation Package:

The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive salary of $80,000 per year, complemented by commission-based incentives that align with individual performance. This compensation structure provides an attractive opportunity for talented individuals to grow their earnings based on their sales achievements.

Primary Job Function:

This role is centered around building strong relationships with existing and potential commercial customers, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving sales that are both competitive and profitable. As the primary point of contact between our company and clients, you will be accountable for all sales activities and customer interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • Two to five years of proven sales experience, preferably within the HVAC industry
  • Solid knowledge of computer applications and ability to multitask efficiently
  • Excellent organizational skills, including timely task management, call scheduling, and project coordination
  • A valid driver's license, as occasional travel may be required

Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert consultation and problem-solving services to customers, focusing on financial and performance-based solutions
  • IDentifying key customers and developing targeted plans to enhance identified accounts
  • Determining current market opportunities and consistently evaluating customer needs
  • Identifying potential opportunities with existing and new customers, converting leads into actual business opportunities
  • Developing strategic relationships with key personnel within customer organizations
  • Creating and executing comprehensive business plans to foster long-term partnerships
  • Presenting monthly forecasts and account business reports to senior management
  • Maintaining a predetermined level of business acquisition success
  • Preparing and presenting quotes for service repairs, including time-and-material and fixed-price services
  • Contacting responsible parties to secure renewal of service contracts
  • Collecting project data, comparing it to office capabilities, and gathering preliminary information for facility walk-throughs
  • Evaluating and discussing possible solutions with customers, estimating project costs, and developing preliminary project fulfillment plans
  • Preparing and finalizing proposals, entering customer/project information into the business system, validating preliminary proposals with customers, determining proposal prices, and negotiating agreement/project scopes
  • Presenting/reviewing proposals and/or contracts with key personnel, following up with stakeholders, preparing transition documents, and communicating project readiness to the project management team
  • Resolving major deviations from scope and assisting customers with technical questions
