Crisis Services Clinical Coordinator

The City of Norfolk, VA is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Services Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Crisis and Acute Services Division, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical supervision and assessment to individuals in crisis, ensuring they receive the necessary mental health services in the least restrictive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical supervision to staff in the Crisis Services
  • Assess individuals in crisis and provide or link them with needed mental health services
  • Develop and implement special projects, policy development, or revision
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Services Supervisor to evaluate staff performance and identify training needs
  • Provide expert testimony to the Norfolk Courts for assigned commitment cases

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a human services field or related field
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience in a management and/or administrative role
  • Valid driver's license
  • Certification or certifiable in Basic First Aid and CPR
  • One of the following is preferred: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Work (LCSW)

  • Competitive salary range: $59,393-$68,301
